RAISING THE FOUNDATION AND FLOORS IN PRIVATE BUILDINGS

The subsidence of the foundation, which often manifests itself in the form of deformation and lowering of individual sections of the floor of the first floor, often leads to cracks in the floor and in the walls. You can avoid dangerous damage to buildings as soon as possible by strengthening the soil of the base and stabilizing the position of the foundation using URETEK techniques.

The reasons for the weakening of the base soil and the gradual subsidence of the foundation of a private house can be different. Most often, such problems arise due to decompaction or poor-quality soil preparation under the foundation. It is possible to simply ignore the need for survey and geodetic work during construction, as well as weaken the soil and further drawdown of the foundation due to a breakthrough of the water supply or sewage system, the effects of groundwater, the destruction of underground tanks and so on.

With the aggravation of the situation and an increase in the degree of subsidence of the foundation, gradual damage to the bearing and non-bearing structures of the building, skewing of windows and doorways, a violation of thermal insulation and, as a result, slow destruction of the whole house are possible. In order to stop the subsidence and stabilize the foundation, it is urgent to strengthen the soil of the base, and then perform the lifting and stabilization of the foundation and, at the final stage, leveling and restoration of the floor.

Foundation and floor

Thanks to the application of the technique of deep injection with Deep Injection geopolymers, the foundations of private and multi-storey buildings can be raised without any damage. The fact is that for the injection of URETEK geopolymer resins, there is no need to attract massive equipment for excavation or concrete work.

Deep injection with URETEK geopolymers makes it possible to strengthen soils and increase their bearing capacity. As a result of injection to a depth of 10 m, a controlled rise of the foundation to the desired level occurs with an accuracy of ± 1 mm. Work is monitored using ultra-precise laser levels in real time. The maximum height of the foundation is 20 cm. In this case, injection is carried out directly under the base of the foundation.

In some cases, after the completion of operations to strengthen the soil of the base and raise the foundation, the floor plates of the lower floor are aligned. Here, the restoration takes place according to Slab Lifting technology: geopolymers are injected directly directly under the concrete floor slab. Why do you need to drill holes in the plate with a diameter of 8-16 mm, which at the end of the work is easy to close up.

The advantages of the URETEK technique

The structure of URETEK geopolymer resins allows you to perform work on lifting the foundation and leveling floor slabs at any time of the year and in any weather, day or night. Moreover, due to the mobility and compactness of the equipment used, work is carried out without resettling residents.

The material used to lift the foundation and floor slabs is environmentally friendly, stable for a long time, harmless to plants, animals and people. It does not pollute the soil and the environment, does not react with water and has waterproofing properties.

Due to the fact that geopolymer resins gain strength just 15 minutes after the end of injection, work to stabilize the foundation and raise the floor slabs in private houses is carried out on average in 2-3 days. At the same time, cost savings in comparison with traditional technologies reaches 25%.
