The type of study of the condition of the building is carried out depending on the purpose of the survey and the life of the building itself. They can be planned and unscheduled and are carried out in such cases:

2. Research before the upcoming repair of the current nature - to identify damage and defects and determine future work.
3. Audit of premises before approval for scheduled repairs of any type.
4. Consideration of the general condition of buildings and premises damaged as a result of accidents.

When is a construction survey required?

The main task when conducting research of a technical nature is to determine the general condition of the foundation, the main and enclosing structures, partitions, ceilings and finishing coatings. This procedure is required when:

- the end of the period of use of buildings;
- carrying out capital, current and other repairs;
- changes in the functional purpose of the structure;
- reconstruction or completion or superstructure of buildings;
- emergency condition of buildings;
- upcoming sale or acquisition of the building.

Scheduled examinations are carried out once every 10 years. If the operating conditions of the building are not satisfactory, then this period can be reduced to 5 years (according to current standards).

In some cases, a selective study is possible - when you need to examine potentially dangerous places or explore individual elements of the room.

GPR study. Despite the fact that the research depth in this case is limited to a depth of 100 meters, it is indispensable in identifying voids, flooding and other soil defects. Also, using georadar, utility networks and communications are searched. A study of this type is carried out for all types of construction, as it also allows you to determine the quality of concrete structures in accordance with applicable regulations.

Study of the strength characteristics of concrete structures. Provides several methods of analysis, including non-destructive ones, used depending on the purpose of the general examination. It is used in the construction, reconstruction and operation of construction sites.
